heh. this weekend was a real busy one compared to the previous weekends. it was so unlike most other weekends where time was spent lazing around either at his place or mine.

kicked off saturday with 3 hours of shoe shopping at jurong point! lol.. the gain? 1 pair of wedge heels and 3 pairs of peep-toe pumps! wahaha.. 3 pairs for mummy and 1 pair for me.. the damage?? around $115. all at charles and keith! i would've gone for U.R.s heels but they dont have an outlet at jurong point. pity. most of the time was spent choosing and helping mum with her selections. the bf resigned to a corner of the cushioned bench and played golf on his phone. he almost completed 18 holes..ha.. i tried real hard not to try the shoes in my size coz i didnt want to buy anything. but i caved in after my mum finally decided on her 3 pairs. it was almost like an impulse buy, but nvm.. i love it anyway.

then it was off to the saf chalets in changi. i've never been there, so i was really surprised at the size of the chalets! they are super huge compared to those at pasir ris or east coast. it was really fun bonding with the bf's sis-in-law family over barbeque and mahjong. i stood around the pit trying to help about and pinch food from the grill..lol.. then the bf and i played mahjong with the sis-in-law's mum and godmum. the mum and godmum showed no mercy la~ kept going for ping-hu and zi mo 4 tai wins in the beginning round. it was during the second round that the bf and i could recoup a little. played with chips only and we didnt count the earnings, but i probably had the least number of chips left. coz i was feeding the mum alot..sobz.. but it was good fun, and i learnt some things along the way.

stayed over at the bf's place, then spent sunday packing everything that hadnt already been packed. even though i dont stay at that house but i've stayed over a couple of times, i'm quite sad that i won't be going back after today. i forgot to take some pictures to keep in memory, so i hope i dont forget that place. i've gotten so comfortable in that house during the 2 years i've been with nigel, so familiar with its location and driving into the estate. if i feel like this for a house i've only been to in the day and stayed in a couple of nights..i cant imagine moving out of my own home that i've stayed in almost all my life! getting all emotional now, and kicking myself for not taking those pictures. sighh..

i wish i had taken leave for tomorrow. so that i can go be part of the moving process, and to bid a final farewell to the house. on the other hand, i may not be able to handle it. and i dont wish to tear infront of his family. sigh.
