i kinda have two songs stuck in my head right now. they are 'it ends tonight' by the all american rejects, and 'closer' by travis. quite catchy tunes, and it beats the other stupid song 'lips of an angel' by hinder?... i mean like what kind of song goes

it is so scandalous....i hate it... and i hate the fact that for a period of time it was playing once every hour on the radio. how can people love that song?!and request for it all day long?! it's just wrong. and damn it for being so catchy. i bet if it wasnt so catchy and people actually went to listen to the words, they wouldnt like it so much.

i'm glad that the lab has a radio. at least it makes the lab live-able. i went for a job interview at a recruitment agency the other day. it was so quiet, no music, no noise. All you hear is the phone ring, typing and the whirling sounds from the computers. no one dares to speak loudly. even my interviewer was explaining the job and asking me stuff in whispers. i had to lean forward to hear her properly. ah wellz..

by the way i took the picture from the end of the lab. yup, so that's how small the area is.


there was an incident yesterday that was quite scary. while i was folding filter papers, i saw sparks on the other side of where i was sitting, then a few sparks later, the wires caught fire. it was a small fire, but while i jumped out of my chair, a thousand scenarios ran thru my mind. omg!!fire!! ; erm what to do what to do!? ; die..now the boiler cannot use anymore ; oh should i take a picture of the fire? ; lucky the fire is not so big ; oh crap must quickly put it out ; how how how how?! ; etc

well that's the gist of it. all those thoughts ran thru while i scrambled over to turn off the switch leading to the boiler.

yup, the plug from the boiler that gives us the distilled water is too short to reach the socket. so it was solved by duck taping an extension wire. just got to get it replaced soon. sigh.. they'd probably say the same thing again 'dont worry, we are going to renovate the lab soon.'..
yarrr right.. they said the same thing when i was hired and it has been a year. thanks a lot.
the lab could have been burnt down, with a big explosion since there are hazardous chemicals and other reagents in the lab, if i wasnt in the lab at that time. bahzz...

watched spider man 3 on 2nd may at vivo. visuals were fantastic. but i kinda agree with most of the critics, action scenes made all grand to balance the lengthy and boring emotional scenes, but rather uninteresting. the story didnt really have a smooth transition. the bf said spidey cried too much..quite gross.. lol!
